Hanging on to new chapters

As I send my kids back to school, I'm always one of those parents that cries on the first day as they walk through those doors. For me, it's the closing of summer and moving into the new year of learning, struggles, last minute projects, childish drama, all while trying to coordinate schedules of school, sports, friends, and life in general.


Here we all are, in it together, trying to get through each day as a family. Through all the ups and downs, we're hanging on, just like many of my clients and their families. Our lives are so busy, and it takes a toll on you over time. I love having my clients take some time to take a deep breath, enjoy the time we're making together. There's little to no stress, and everyone is invited to enjoy their time. We're not worried about the formality of the images, because the memories are what matter most and the images themselves come organically.

You did what?! and where?!

While traveling again, I'm allowed to truly sit down and write down this month's newsletter. I then deleted it, wrote it again, and decided to pause, have other's look it over and give me feedback. This helps to give clarity and sometimes it takes accepting "done doesn't always mean perfect."


I've been working really hard this year to accept that all the work I've done up until this point is good enough, and all the work I'm doing this year is laying the groundwork to greatness. I'm trying my best to "trust the process" even on my hardest days.

This is your chance! I'm opening up sessions to my Christmas Card sessions at a Christmas tree farm. For $210 you can spend 20 minutes with whomever you want in your session and receive 25 cards we decide before your session. If payment plans would benefit you and your family, I'm happy to sign you up for payments before your session. This gives peace of mind when we start snapping, because you have already paid off your session and cards!


There are only 2 slots are available each night for the last week in October, so don't let this time pass you by before it's too late.
