Graduating Seniors

After many hours of hard work and memories built over the years, the culmination of graduation is a great way to showcase graduates.

The best way to commemorate these accomplishments is with photos.

This incapsulates so many different interests of graduates, from sports and music, to video games, arts, and fashion.

I will also happily include vehicles, pets, family, and friends when time and locations permit.

Before

In preparation for your session, we sit down together in person, over the phone, or on a video call.

During this consultation we talk over your dreams for your senior portraits. We go over locations, outfits, scheduling, props, hair styles, make-up, and all of the fun of going over all the wonderful ideas that tell your story.

If you want to go to multiple locations, wear multiple outfits, and have family, friends, or pets we can do all of that. These are what we talk this over during our consultation.

During

We meet up at our agreed upon time and location, and the outfit choice we agreed upon. I will typically arrive earlier in order to check out the flow of the location. After you arrive, we look over all of the props, outfits, friends/family, and anything else we talked about during the consultation.

After we talk over the flow of the session we start with generic posing. This checks off the easiest box early on and sets the tone for everything moving forward. It helps me show you how to pose and see how well you can take direction. When you are familiar with direction and poses come easy, then we can move on to the fun and dynamic images with more personality.

Creating these dynamic images shows off your personality and what makes your senior year uniquely yours.

After

Once we wrap up the session we talk over the expected turnaround time of the image selection. This is where I lightly edit a select few images I like the most, and then we sit down together and talk as a team about what images stand out the most to you.

From that point we talk about what images you want printed out. Do you want a large print to take to your college dorm? What about a collage printed on metal or a framed series of 3 images to send to the grandparents? Do you want an album to stay at home well after graduation? How about announcements? We go over the printing choices and all printed images will be included in the digital gallery.
